Gregg Pollack

Gregg is a Hollywood director trapped in the body of a software developer. Although he loves programming he is also passionate about finding new and creative ways to educate using podcasts and screencasts. When he's not thinking up new ideas to take over the world he can be found contributing to the Rails Activist Team, the Orlando Ruby Users Group, BarCamp Orlando, and Ignite Orlando.

Nathaniel Bibler

Nate is a software developer who likes to focus on large, multi-part systems and APIs. Sometimes we'll find him at his lab station, alone, in the dark, drooling over the documentation for someone's crazy new web service. That, or reconfiguring a web server, or trying to shave 3 more bytes off of a graphic. With a steady diet of coffee and cookies, he can turn out some amazing things.

Tyler Hunt

Tyler is a veteran web developer with a penchant for the Ruby language and frameworks including Ruby on Rails and Merb. He enjoys creating practical, intuitive interfaces with semantic markup, well-crafted JavaScript, and pretty colors. When he's not coding, you'll find him in the kitchen cooking up new recipes and mixing classic cocktails.

Thomas Meeks

Thomas loves to code, especially when he gets to dive into the deep technical details. To him, there is little more fun than a late night spent grokking the algorithms in complex software. In addition to his software development experience, Thomas is a total Linux geek and has several years experience bending servers to his indomitable will.

Jacob Swanner

Jacob was previously trapped as a .NET developer before he was liberated by Envy Labs. These days he spends his time writing beautiful Ruby code and hacking internet telephony applications (a.k.a. Cloud Communication). When his head is not in the clouds he's usually thinking about his next travel adventure.

Mark Kendall

Mark lives at the intersection where beautiful code meets elegant design. Like many of us he started as a Java Guru, and then graduated to building Ruby on Rails applications a few years ago. When he's not coding, he's trying to teach his son how to code using Basic and Legos.

Caike Souza

Caike is passionate about agile development, software craftsmanship, and rocking out on his Guitar. More recently he founded the Orlando Code Dojo, where programmers get together to practice coding to improve their skills once a month. He's also natively from Brazil (and thus available to help with website portuguese translations!).

Allison House

Allison is a web designer who creates intuitive, top-quality websites that cater to user experience. She is the only existing developer in Orlando who is capable of coding HTML & CSS clean enough for the rest of the developers at Envy Labs (you could literally eat sushi off of the divs).

Eric Allam

Eric is a Ruby developer but can sometimes get distracted by shiny things, like node.js or Cocoa Touch. He is excited by finding pragmatic solutions to hard problems, and turning those problems into compelling products. Catch him in a coffee shop and he would be just as willing to engage in a discussion of literary fiction as he would the benefits of TDD.

Violette Calhoun

You say "ActiveRecord plugin", Violette says "improved database design". It's no wonder Violette helps with the communication between developers and clients, she actually knows how to translate what we say into English (and she has a degree to prove it!). You might call her a Project Manager, but we like to think of her as the least disorganized person in the office.

Andrew Smith

A recent graduate from Full Sail University, Andrew is the youngest developer in the office, but don't let that fool you. He can sling Ruby code and chew bubble gum just as well as the rest of them (and often at the same time).
