Twongo WebApp Development
Twongo allows anyone to take advantage of team buying by featuring one deal a day at one of the best dining, shopping, or entertainment venues in your area. The Twongo team contacted Envy Labs to develop their application from the ground up in Ruby on Rails. Here's a screencast we produced for them to show people how to use the service:

- A Scalable System Architecture
Although Twongo started out in just the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, it needed to be scaled up to multiple cities. We ensured the system architecture would be able to easily scale up when new cities were added. - Leveraging existing Social Networks
Twongo customers are encouraged to tweet or post to facebook with information about the Twongo big deal. Also, when people create an account on Twongo, they can optionally use their Facebook account to log in. This way they don't need to remember another password. - Allowing Secure Payments and Credit Card Storage
By leveraging Authorize.Net's Customer Information Manager (CIM), we were are able to securely store customer's credit card numbers, so they can quickly purchase a Twongo voucher. - Fully Featured Mailing Lists
Twongo's business model strongly leverages daily deal emails to let their customers know about new deals. By integrating with Mad Mimi, we were able to give the Twongo team complete control over all customer email addresses and mailers.
